Help us make a difference for cancer patients in Southwest Wisconsin. This cause is deeply personal to us because my husband, Seth, is a survivor of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. Diagnosed at 19, Seth underwent 10 rounds of chemotherapy and radiation. He has been cancer-free for 16 years!
These personalized candles will support fundraising efforts for individuals undergoing cancer treatments and for vital cancer research initiatives at UW Health and Gundersen Hospitals & Clinics.
100% of the proceeds will be donated to Greater Richland Area Cancer Elimination, Inc — a non-profit organization located in our hometown of Richland Center, Wisconsin.
HOW IT WORKS
To create your customized cancer awareness candle, follow these steps:
1. Choose the Cancer Ribbon Color
- From the ‘Cancer Ribbon Color’ drop-down menu, select the color that represents the type of cancer awareness you want to support.
- If the cancer ribbon color you're looking for is not listed, select 'Other' and specify the color during checkout. We will create the candle with the color associated with the cancer.
2. Select a Message for the Candle
Choose one of the three following messages that best aligns with the purpose for the candle:

- In Honor Of: For cancer survivors.
- I’m Fighting For: For those currently battling cancer.
- In Memory Of: For those who have passed away from cancer.
From the 'Candle Scent' drop-down menu, select up to 10 different scents that best represent the candle.
4. Personalize Name in the White Box
- Decide whether you want us to write the name in the white box or if you prefer to leave it blank. If you want us to handwrite the name, type the name under 'Name for Personalization'. Please enter the exact spelling you would like. Candles won't be refunded due to wrong spelling being entered.
- If you prefer to leave 'Name for Personalization' blank, you or someone else can write the name in the white box upon receiving the candle. The label will already be affixed to the glass candle jar, so take your time when using a Sharpie to write the name. Allow 10 minutes for the ink to dry after writing.
